Christmas Flower Wrapping Paper

Christmas Flower Wrapping Paper for 2026: Four New Designs from Carccu®

For Christmas 2026, Carccu® is introducing four new flower wrapping paper designs for florists: Christmas Greeting, Green Branches, Candles, and Secrets of the Forest. From nostalgic Christmas florist paper and botanical greenery to a kraft-inspired winter forest, the collection offers four different ways to complete a Christmas bouquet.

Printed on MG paper for wrapping flowers, the four designs range from watercolor illustration and botanical greenery to vintage-inspired line art. They reflect several different directions in our 2026 trend outlook, including botanical botanical motifs, warm greens, neutral beige and brown tones, white and kraft-inspired bases, and restraint in patterning.

Despite their different visual styles, the designs share a common principle: Flower wrapping paper should frame and complement the bouquet rather than compete with it. Together, the four papers allow florists to create different moods while maintaining a visually coherent seasonal presentation.

Christmas Greeting: Nostalgic Christmas Flower Wrapping Paper

Christmas Greeting is a white florist paper designed around the familiar imagery of a traditional Christmas. On a white background, the soft watercolor pattern combines a red-breasted winter bird, pinecones, evergreen sprigs, red-berried holly, and the hand-lettered words Merry Christmas.

Warm and nostalgic, the design draws on the tradition of illustrated Christmas cards and the atmosphere of a cottage Christmas. Small motifs and generous white space keep the all-over pattern relatively airy, while the small repeat allows the main elements to remain visible on narrower wraps and smaller cut sheets.

The name captures the idea behind the design: The Merry Christmas wrap turns the bouquet itself into a Christmas greeting.

“This nostalgic paper wishes you a Merry Christmas with red-breasted winter birds and pinecones. It’s like receiving Christmas greetings from your best friend,” said Ritva Borg, designer of Carccu®’s flower paper patterns.

This holiday trend is characterized by familiar colors, classic motifs, and a warm, festive atmosphere. Rich reds and deep green details create a timeless palette that kindles memories and immediately evokes feelings of Christmas.

Green Branches: Floral Wrapping Paper for Christmas and Winter

Green Branches is a green florist paper that puts botanical greenery at the center of the design. Round-leaved eucalyptus, red-berried holly, and soft pine needles overlap on a white background in watercolor shades of green.

The upward direction of the sprigs visually continues the greenery of the bouquet into the wrapping. Halftone printing creates different shades within the foliage, adding depth to the botanical illustration.

As the pattern doesn’t contain seasonal wording, Green Branches works as a Christmas wrap without text and can also be used more broadly as a winter bouquet wrap. Its Christmas character comes instead from the berries and evergreens. The nature-inspired, fresh aesthetic also makes the design suitable for greenery styling beyond the Christmas season.

“In this design, green symbolizes nature, growth, balance, and peace. The small red berries bring a touch of Christmas to the paper,” remarked Borg.

The combination of green and earthy tones creates a sense of timeless naturalness. This trend reinterprets calmness, naturalness, and classic aesthetics with a modern lightness, where deep fir and moss greens play a central role.

Candles: A Cozy Watercolor Christmas Wrap

Candles continues the watercolor theme, but brings larger, more decorative imagery to the white background. Lanterns appear among evergreen branches, pinecones, red berries, and round red decorative elements, with snow adding to the winter setting.

Compared with the smaller repeat of Christmas Greeting, the motifs create a stronger decorative rhythm, while white space between the illustrated groups keeps the overall appearance soft and light.

A printed seasonal message isn’t featured here. Instead, the holiday character of this flower wrapping paper comes from the winter imagery and the atmosphere it creates.

“This Christmas trend conveys a sense of security, tradition, and winter coziness. Natural wood surfaces, warm whites, and classic red details create an atmosphere reminiscent of snow-covered cottages, candlelight, and peaceful winter evenings,” commented Borg.

The overall feeling is familiar and down to earth, yet carefully composed. Figures, illuminated houses, and winter landscapes tell small stories and bring Christmas to life, while warm light, textile surfaces, and details from nature contribute to the cozy atmosphere.

Secrets of the Forest: Kraft Florist Paper with a Vintage Winter Forest

Secrets of the Forest is a kraft-inspired flower wrapping paper with a warm brown base and fine white line drawing. Deer appear among firs and bare winter trees in a visual style reminiscent of toile de Jouy fabric and traditional engraving.

The combination of brown florist paper, woodland imagery, and vintage-inspired illustration creates a quiet, timeless form of rustic elegance. The warm brown background also connects the design with the kraft-inspired bases and beige and brown neutrals identified in our 2026 trend outlook.

Not featuring text, Secrets of the Forest works as a Christmas wrap without text, a winter bouquet wrap, and for other timeless gift wrapping. Its single-color illustration offers another interpretation of restraint in patterning, using line, contrast, and repetition rather than a broader color palette.

“With this paper, you can imagine yourself completely alone in a quiet forest with only a solitary deer for company. What a pleasure: a snowy landscape, silence, and a curious deer beside you—the true secrets of the forest,” said Borg.

Four Flower Wrapping Paper Designs for the Holiday Season

The four flower wrapping paper designs offer florists different ways to complete Christmas and winter bouquets. Christmas Greeting brings the nostalgic atmosphere of a traditional illustrated Christmas card, Green Branches focuses on fresh botanical greenery, Candles creates a cozy winter scene, and Secrets of the Forest introduces a rustic, vintage-inspired winter forest.

Together, they join our broader selection of flower wrapping papers and custom-printed options for florists. While each has its own visual identity, they share the same underlying idea: The wrapping should support the flowers and add the finishing touch to the gift.

Environmental Considerations in Flower Wrapping Paper Production

The new seasonal flower wrapping papers are also part of our broader approach to considering environmental aspects in paper products and printing. We use water-based inks in printing, while our sourcing is supported by FSC® Chain of Custody and PEFC Chain of Custody certifications.

At our production site, we use fossil-free electricity and geothermal energy and our operations are covered by certified ISO 9001 quality and ISO 14001 environmental management systems. These practices provide a documented framework for material traceability, production processes, and environmental management.

In addition to seasonal and year-round flower wrapping paper designs, Carccu® produces custom-printed floral papers across different paper types, sizes, and finishes. Our design service can also support florists in developing customized wrapping papers for their own visual identity.
